Today I am revisiting the leather pants I show cased on Instagram last week (yeah, I know at this point it was really last month… #ITried
So which pair did I keep of the four?
I should explain.
After reviewing the photos of the pair I really wanted – I realized they were going to need to be altered (shortened). But while returning the rejected pair I discovered they are also available in a “short” option. #AlterationProblemSolved
So which pair did I keep? The Aritzia in Birch … in short. #WhoSawThatComing
I really liked the AGOLDE, they were butter soft, partially lined, slightly thicker and with a straighter leg. They were also significantly pricier, and the sizing was inconsistent. The black pair fit TTS while the white pair did not. I really wanted white. If it had been Fall/Winter I probably would have kept the black pair. #ColdWeatherLeather
The Aritizia were amazing. They are less than half the price and come in a variety of options (both in length and colors – so many color choices). The off-white was creamer (and better than the “snow” color of the AGOLDE which had a taupe tint. As far as disadvantages … they too had sizing inconsistencies. The white pair fit but the black did not (I sized up from my typical pant size in both colors).
Since, I really wanted the lighter color for Spring it was an easy choice. #FivePairsLater
So how have I been wearing them? There are a few looks below and I created a style sheet with three ideas (and shoppable links) that you can download and save. #SavvyShopper
Three Looks for White Leather Pants
For an easy transition to Spring, pair a cropped (on trend), muted pastel or brightly colored (also on trend) jacket with suede boots. As the weather warms – swap the boots for heels. #SpringIsComing
For the office (or WFH) pair a neutral body suit with a plaid blazer. Ground the look with classic loafers or a pump (or your favorite slippers). #ClassicLeatherLook
To wear the pants for date night, pair with a shoulder baring halter top and strappy heel then add some festive earrings to finish the look. I have a girls trip planned next month to Las Vegas and this is one of the outfits that will be in my suitcase. #AssetShowing
