Yesterday I promised more updates to my Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale Picks to include Dresses, Tops and Skirts.  If you are looking for Coats or Jackets or curious what I have already purchased start here.   I haven’t made it to the shoes yet (other than the few I purchased yesterday) but it will happen.

Dresses

Let’s start with the most classic of work dresses – the sheath!!  The BOSS game is strong in this sale but Boden also had a few good winners (sizing was more limited, however).  #ShopEarly

And now time for some fun … here are all the other dresses that caught my eye.  All can go to the office and some can work for special events and other fun times!

Julia Jordan Dress – I have and love this dress!  It’s the classic LBD with a twist (or ruch).  It also comes in red and blue but I went with classic black.  I sized up in this dress.  (The fabric is very thick so if you live in the South this might not be a year round dress for you …)

Maggy London Dress – The ruffle hem provides an element of interest to the classic sheath dress.  I also love the V-neckline.

Ted Baker Dress – Quintessential Ted with subtle flowers and perfect lines.  This one can do board room as easily as it can special occasion.

AllSaints Dress – I saw this one in the store when I was in Las Vegas … its even more gorgeous in person and at 50% off this one is absolutely coming home!

Boden Dot Dress – Dots are going to be big this year and this Boden number will transition perfectly from Winter To Spring.  The colors are also just too fun.

Julia Jordan Dress – Add tights and this one can go to the office or it makes the perfect little ditty for an evening on the town.

Stripe Shirt Dress – A work classic dressed up in satin and vertical stripes.  Yes, please.  Pair with tall boots or tights for winter and classic pumps or strappy sandals for Spring into Summer.

Blue Dress – This dress is so eye catching.  I love the clean lines and slight flare of the skirt.  The color is also just too vibrant and fun!

Blouses

My go to work item is the silk blouse.  Pair it with a suit, a skirt or slacks and you are work ready in a matter of minutes.  Some of these I already own, some I ordered and a few I just love for their practicality. First up, the basic silk blouse that every closet needs.  I’m a fan of Navy but you will always wear a white silk blouse.

These last picks are just practical AND fun.  I own the Boden floral blouse and love it!! I also own many black and white stripe blouses that I wear on repeat.  The other two are perfect transition blouses, wear them in the winter with blazers and on their own come warmer weather.

Skirts

First, the classic pencil skirt.  It’s a work wardrobe workhorse and I have no less than 10 in my closet.  These range from edgy leather to trendy plaid and classic grey.  There is no bad choice however, I picked the Navy leather.

The other abundant skirt in my closet is the midi skirt – especially a lovely pleated one!!  The below are all unique and lovely in their own way from sparkles to stripes to classic plaid. I have the Stripe one in a solid blue and it is a great week to weekend find.  #Love #BigLove
