Compelling + Modern
For women who mean business

-Jane Israel

Those are not my words. Those are the words of the designer and founder of Jane Israel Designs. I had to use her words because I couldn’t have described her clothes better myself!  #HerWords

I love unique boutique brands!

But this one goes so far beyond. With thoughtful details and designs that resonate with the businesswoman in me. Her quality and craftsmanship is divine. The styling sophisticated and unparalleled. You won’t find pieces like these anywhere else.  #NoWhere

I had the opportunity to preview two pieces from her newest collection and what a privilege this was.  From client meetings to dinners and back again they delivered.  #DeliveryIsKey

The A-Line Dress

First up a dress.  This chic A-line dress is both professional and sophisticated and I wore this on a VERY chilly day for meetings in Washington DC. #ChicMe

First: The bow detail is notable but not overpowering. #Love  Second:  The charcoal color is this blueish-grey that is the perfect neutral for whatever accessories to you want to glam it up with (I’m looking at you leopard coat). #AndPatentShoes

Third:  Did I mention functional pockets?  The pockets allowed me to carry lipstick for a quick touch-up after coffee and lunch (guarantees you always look your put together best)! #LookYourBest

The wool was warming and didn’t wrinkle (all my photos were taken near the end of my day)!! #Hooray

Tailored Jacket and Wide Leg Pants

Next up, a suit.

As I woman that spends a good portion of her life wearing suits, I am always looking for ones that are feminine. This tailored jacket and wide leg pants are the very definition. I had this suit with me on a business trip to NYC (during a snow storm) and it was a power player!! #OhMy

There is no doubt this suit is made for a woman! #NoQuestion

No man would be seen sporting a bow on his suit jacket!! #ZeroChance

The wide-leg pants and tailoring of the jacket highlight my waist and all my feminine curves. #Hourglass

The Navy color is a perfect Navy, not too black that you can’t tell it’s Navy and not so blue that it leaves the realm of classic. #AlwaysClassic

Again, Jane says it best:

“This is not about a trend, this is here to stay.”

Where to Buy

Below are the three pieces I styled.

While working as a lawyer, Jane Israel struggled to find clothes that were office- appropriate but still stylish. Most of what was available was either fast-fashion that lacked the quality she needed, or frumpy and unflattering suits. Passionate about beautiful design, Jane set out to create the kind of up-to-the-minute, functional wardrobe that professional women are looking for and have earned.  Jane generously provided me all three pieces to review and incorporate into my modern work wardrobe  but all opinions in this post are my own.
