Holiday Shoes: The Best Shoes of the Season to be Merry and Bright

If there is a season for shoes that just makes me smile it is Holiday shoes.  Tartan and glitter … yes, please.  Velvet and embellishments … the more the merrier.  So much SWOON factor.  My current Holiday Shoes collection is rapidly approaching more than the number of events I can wear them to, but I fail to see the issue.  #BeautifulShoesAreNeverAProblem

I’ve grouped the Holiday Shoes collections into three categories with a sampling of silhouettes and price points in each.  There is Velvet, Sparkle and Tartan.  I also included more than a few outfits that I would wear with all these beautiful shoes!  Most of the shoes I selected come in at least two color ways and some in so many more!

And while we are on the ‘fancy‘ shoes topic can we take a moment to talk about shoes for weddings (because most of these will work their too).  If I see one more question about wearing booties to a wedding, I may cry.  Unless the wedding is in a barn … in winter … and both the bride AND groom are wearing denim … then don’t.  Just don’t.  There are so many better options.  If budget is the issue, I made it my mission to find several Under $50 pairs (some are less than $35) and they are all clearly marked.  #NoExcuses  I also included a few investment pairs if you want to splurge.  I have worn my velvet ankle tie shoes for at least four years worth of special events and I know they are good for at least another four.  #WorthTheSplurge
