I few weeks ago I did a Spring roundup to celebrate the arrival of spring.  Every day I featured a different Spring collection with several pieces to choose from as well as suggestions for ways to style everything.  Those roundups can be found here:  Spring Dresses, Spring Stripes, Pencil Skirts, Spring Florals and Ankle Pants. It was always my intent to follow that week with a week of Spring Shoes but then illness and travel slowed me down!  #life

It’s finally done though.  This week will be a full week of Spring Shoes!  I can’t wait to share with you all my swoon worthy finds!  I’ve had to do some serious narrowing though.   With that in mind I had to levy some pretty strict criteria; they had to be items I either already own or would buy.  Because I know not everyone wears sky high heels, I  tried to include a mix of heel height options.  The winners also needed to be highly versatile.  I wanted shoes that could be worn with suits and other office attire as well as to weddings and brunches.  The categories are a little looser than the Spring Roundup but I will showcase shoes in these general categories:  Cage Sandals, Block Heels, COLOR, Denim and Blue Shoes and Peep Toe Sandals.  Like last time, I will probably have and addendum … or two.  #imighthaveashoeaddiction

The Cage Look

Cage shoes wrap your entire foot and have either laces, buckles or zippers as a feature.  I highly recommend the laces or zippers over the buckles as multiple buckles can be a nuisance.  Some shoes combine the features with a zipper at the back for easier entry and exit.  Cage sandals can be worn with suits but look for dressier materials and accents to compliment the more formal office environment.

My Top Cage Picks

I focused on nude and black but Cage Sandals come in a multitude of colors.  You will see some more options with some of the other trends later this week.

Yes, these are the real Valentino ones and yes they are outrageously expensive. Look for lots of designers to replicate these though. I have a pair from DSW and it would be hard for the average person to discern it is not the real thing!  I would absolutely wear these with a suit.  These are statement shoes.
Comes in black or beige – adorable in either color!

These come in 3 different color combinations but the Red and Yellow really pop with the black and white. I would wear this one with a suit!

With a lower wedge heel this is a very practical shoe. The details make it appropriate for a suit. It also comes in two metallic colors.
