Okay, I will confess that I was skeptical. First of all, this AA cup isn’t really meant for wrap tops. But I love the look … that sexy V is just calling for a statement necklace (and anything to make the AA look less so – or MORE so as the case should be). I have been searching all season for a work appropriate grey top to wear with my leather skirt . Probably made unnecessarily challenging by my fixation on grey – I am not sure how I came to be fixated on grey but my mind was set. I saw this wrap top while paging through the Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale – yes, I look at every page. The color was PERFECT. Despite being skeptical about the cut, it was 40%, how could I not try?
It arrived yesterday … crazy wrinkled and in a tube shaped bag – not helping the cause. It also looked like one of the shirts that my husband, while folding laundry, would attempt to fold and then hand to me telling me it was too complicated. Okay, so it didn’t look like much without something to fill it out but it was buttery soft. I slipped it on … and it was LOVE. Everything worked. The neckline wasn’t too deep or too loose (see above mentioned AA) and the ruched sides helped hide the evidence I indulged too much over the holidays. Problem solved. I immediately went online and ordered all the other colors.

Never mind the wrinkles, poor lighting or lack of make-up on my part … I had to show you this shirt! For most of the pictures except the last one I had the shirt tucked in – it wears well either way!
