It’s Nordstrom Triple Point time (through tomorrow) and since its been awhile since I’ve done a “What’s in My Cart” review, I thought now would be the perfect time. I often pile up items in my cart just waiting for the right reason to send them home. You can read more about those reasons here but read on to see which of my pieces found the right reason to come home this weekend. These pieces run the gamut from work to play and everything in between. Oh, and a few of the picks include some fabulous dressing room selfies because I opted to run and pick a few items up. #SorryNotSorry
Jackets
I’ve been hunting for a long-line blazer for spring. I tried the French Girl from J.Crew but I wasn’t a fan of the black one and the blush one hasn’t arrived yet. #ArrivingSoon
Enter this pick from Mural. The rust is the color I want but my store didn’t have it in stock in my size so I tried the Emerald. Comes in five very spring appropriate colors.
I have a very similar Veronica Beard one that I love for the warmer months but the price on this one is much more wallet friendly ($99). You can see mine styled here , here or here for inspiration.
Dresses
Gorgeous. The most feminine and professional dress you will ever own. Perfect for the office and any other LBD required occasion. It also comes in the most impractical yet amazing tangerine color. #IHeartDVF
I love that this dress isn’t a gingham and isn’t a plaid but is indecisively in between. I also love that I can throw on a jacket, add some heels and head to work just as easily as I can add a statement necklace and sandals and head to play.
Tops
I highlighted this Trouve sweater last week when I was talking about styling Mary Jane Shoes. It is just too adorable and versatile to leave in the cart! #OnItsWay
I ordered one from J. Crew but it may be a little too tunic for me. I’m liking this one as an alternative! And it’s only $35. #OnItsWay
Bottoms
Adorable and versatile! I’m in love with these pants for Spring. Too spendy? Try this very similar pair from Ann Taylor.
I’ve been trying to find some alternate sytles of denim that are neither skinny or cropped. These Paige jeans are slightly cropped (so I can show off my shoes) and the straight leg has me intrigued. My only hesitation is the knee looks more distressed than I would wear. #TheseAreAMaybe I’ve also had my eye on a similar pair from Ann Taylor.
Accessories
Everything about this clutch is a yes. The colors, the pattern, the simplicity. #Perfection #InMyPurse Insider Tip: Buy at Nordstrom so you get Triple Points but have them price match the Bloomingdale’s Sale Price! #Save25Dollars
I have this necklace! I love this necklace! As demonstrated above it is super versatile! The stone is available in two other colors. And did I mention $19?
I’ve been on the hunt for new sunnies. Hunt over! (Did I mention $14?) These actually come in six different colors – I tried three.
Shoes
If I could wear whatever ever I wanted everyday then these would be on my feet. Since I can’t, they aren’t really in the budget but they are adorable.
I will likely “splurge” on these cuties for my weekend errand running and sporting events. They came in 10 colors. #ImGettingPink #OrRed #OrMaybeBlue
A close second to the converse, are these “dressier” ones from Tory Burch. Also adorable. Pair them with this tote! #PerfectMatch
I wear my double strap sandals all summer long. They go with everything and the wedge on this pair makes them both wearable and walkable for all sorts of occasions.
I have a similar pair in yellow but I am currently enamored with these green ones . They come in 15 other colors and prints if green isn’t your thing. These style is another summer staple. And as you can see from my pick they also transition beautifully for cooler temps.
I just ordered another pair of rose gold sandals (these from the Rack); but I’ve got my eye on this pair if those don’t work out!! These also come in silver. #GoGold
Happy Shopping!!
