Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale Picks (Round 2)

My 9 to 5 Shoes my9to5shoes.com Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale

The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is still going strong!  Many of my first picks have sold out but there are still a few pieces remaining from those selections.  I also did a pretty good round up of black booties from the sale here.  This morning I went through Contemporary and Shoes one last time just to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

I missed stuff.  #GoodStuff

The sale ends Monday but I would shop sooner rather than later for the best selection.  Help pay for your shopping spree by entering our Nordstrom Giveaway for your chance to win a $1000 gift card, find the details here. #ShoppingOnMe

Without any fanfare … here are my round two picks.

Sweaters

Because it is cold and I currently want all the warmth I can get my hands on … and it will probably be this way for the next month (or two).  #WinterStaple

Joie Soft Sweater – This one comes in two colors.  I just ordered both.  I have several of these and they are sooo soft.  They are also dressy enough to go to work.  Pair with a pencil skirt or the black currant colored Theory pants below and consider it done!

Barbour Wool Sweater – The perfect neutral.  I would toss this one on with a pleated midi and boots.  Here are two skirts that would be perfect (olive or wine).

How Did I Miss These?

These are the pieces I am stunned I missed during my first look?!?  Maybe the head cold was more real than I realized.  I apologize because they are all staples that I should not have overlooked.   I ordered all three this morning! #HurryUPS

Theory Pants in Dark Currant – How I missed these on my first round through I will never know.  The perfect color and cut for Winter.

Asymmetrical Sheath Dress – This reminds me of the popular Halo dress but with a $70 price tag.  The color is bright and gorgeous and just what winter needs!  #ByeByeBlahs

Kate Spade Dress – With clean lines this minimalist sheath dress is season less.  Pair with a turtleneck and tights in the winter and alone all summer.

Coats and Jackets

I’m a coat person almost as much as I am a shoe person.  I love them!  And because they are often the first thing a person sees in the Winter months your’s should be impeccable.   #FirstImpressions

DVF Tweed Coat – I love coats that you can wear all day (because I live my life cold).  This is one of those pieces.  You can also consider it a real “coat” if you live somewhere that doesn’t go below 50.

Via Spiga Coat – I love the contrast and the details.  What I really love is this coat.  What I really don’t love is its price (even on sale).  So this Via Spiga coat is my compromise.  #StillGood

Shoes

I can always find good shoes.  I have, however, limited myself to the 5 best (of the rest).  You can’t go wrong with any of these for all your work looks.

Amara Loafer Pump – These would look perfect with the Theory pants and an ivory silk blouse.  I love the blush color but also comes in black and white.

1.State Leopard Pump – Very similar to my Vince ones but at 1/3 the price.  Also comes in three solid colors perfect for winter (brown, blue and red).

Paul Green Mary Jane – I love a good Mary Jane and the Bordo suede color is gorgeous.   Also comes in black.

Geox Wedge – I’m not sure how I missed this little cutie during my black bootie round-up.  It’s perfect with pants, skirts or dresses.

Buckle Pump – The sizing was a little more limited on this one but was too gorgeous to not include. Also comes in black.   #MayLuckBeInYourSize

Happy Shopping!!
