If you missed the last two Tuesday posts … lately I’ve been rounding up the best shoes from various Fall Collections. It started with Nordstrom, then J.Crew and for this Shoesday I’m looking at the Boden Fall Collection. I am a little more than obsessed with Boden Shoes. I have some very practical shoes from Boden that are wardrobe workhouses … black and navy patent kitten heels. But that isn’t what I normally come to Boden looking for. Most of my Boden shoes are colorful and fun and that is how I generally think of the brand. They aren’t afraid of color or patterns or combining the two. They are the place to find a shoe that you didn’t know you were looking for.
For this Shoesday Edit I’ve tried to select a mix of colors and styles. All of these grabbed me for some reason (I tell you why). All of the picks come in more colors (usually at least three), so if the color I picked doesn’t grab you but you are loving the style – it just may come in a color you do love! I find Boden fits TTS and I love that they have half sizes (rare for European sizing). Always follow their sizing guidelines, if the recommendation is to size up or down then adjust accordingly. Shoesday (The Boden Edit)
A classic block heel in a not so classic color combination. I loved the colorblocking but it also came in dots and a leopard print ( you know I love a good leopard).
The name alone congers up images of a shoe goddess, “Carrie” and the scallops are divine. I picked the Navy because I am always on the hunt for a good Navy shoe but it comes in three solid colors and three patterns. It also comes in a mid or a high heel. The Navy option is linked to the mid and the Colorblock is linked to the high.
It’s hard to see in the picture but the trim is actually little pom-poms. Seriously? Such a great detail. This shoe also comes in Navy and a Kelly Green.
This block heel, tassel loafer is so practical and adorable. It comes in two other colors (Navy and Gold) but I’m loving the Bright Green for a pop of color. This will be great with dresses or pants!!
This sexy T-Bar comes in four colors (Orange, Pink, Yellow and Black) and two heights. This is the closest shoe I have found to my often requested orange Boden shoes. #GoBright
I am currently in love with this pattern – so in love that I will likely do a whole Shoesday post on it! Over the Holiday weekend I ordered two shoes very similar but the detail on these is to die for. A tie or the contrasting trim … I love both. The two heeled options come in three color options while the flats come in Dot or Leopard.
Good Loafers for work are a must for commuting and long days on your feet (conferences anyone). I also love them for casual Fridays!! 5 color choices for this one (Blue, Gold, Red, Leopard and Dot).
Another solid loafer choice that is just a touch dressier. Comes in Green Dot, Gold or Black. All have the same black ribbon across the toes.
A cross between a loafer and a ballet … I’m loving the tassels and the contrasts. Comes in Nude with Black, Black with Dot or Navy with Nude. All are adorable!
