Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Skirt Roundup
I tried on everything I could find in the store so you can see the item on me as well as on the Nordstrom model. I also tried to get a couple different angles in the dressing room. #MoreDressingRoomSelfies
I’ve broken the skirts into categories starting with the quintessential work wear staple – the pencil skirt.
Pencil Skirts
This is a stretchy, comfortable skirt that will hide all imperfections. Size down in this one. I am wearing a Small but I needed an XS.
This next skirt is very similar to the one above but with a fun zipper detail on the back.
Skirt | Shell (from Ann Taylor but similar from Nordstrom here) | D’Orsay Heels
I tried to capture the zipper on the back but wasn’t very successful – lets just blame the lighting. It’s a very lovely detail. This lovely detail will make hemming a no-go – it does also come in Petite sizes). This one comes in 4 colors including a bright red and is only $39.90.
Don’t want Ponte? I’ve purchased several of these pencil skirts over the years and I love them. I’m a fan of the camel color but it also comes in black. #BothBargains
Pleats
This skirt is gorgeous (and pricier). So versatile though. I purchased a Navy chiffon skirt last year and I wear it tons! I am holding this one in the back because I need a smaller size. I am wearing a Size Small so size down! If VINCE is a little too pricey try this BP one for $35.90 or go for one in faux leather. I also purchased one of these last year and wear it tons! It works with a jacket (see that look in this post).
Leather (or Faux)
Skirt | Argyle Sweater | D’Orsay Heels
This J. Crew pleated mini is faux leather. I love the preppy look but if you need something more formal opt for this Navy trimmed jacket which is totally adorable. Need something longer? Try this black one that I purchased last year or try this woven mélange version in Navy.
A-Line Leather Skirt | Silk Blouse | Shoes
This is so similar to the Classiques one I purchased last year. Undeniably gorgeous and I wear it tons. This is is not quite the same quality but it is half the price and I love the color!! You can see mine in this post.
I also ordered this Faux Topshop skirt in the Navy color but I’m really loving the coppery orange. The website pictures don’t do this one justice. I would pair this with Navy, Black or Burgundy for an autumn look.
I ordered this BlankNYC Suede Skirt but it hasn’t arrived. I will provide an update as soon as it does. It comes in two colors. I think I may have ordered both. #itwas3AM #notmybestwork

I really want to love this skirt but I’m really on the fence. I’ve tried it with several tops and it is very versatile. Fits TTS and I am wearing a Size 4.
