This week I’m bargain hunting. If you missed yesterday’s post with the full explanation (Happy Actual Teacher Appreciation Day) as well as skirts for under $30 find that here. Today I’m talking ruffled shells under $30. Tuck them under suit jackets or blazers or wear them on their own – either way they are not only gorgeous but fun! #rufflesmakeworkmorefun
My Ruffled Shell
During the spring roundup I highlighted a very lovely Ted Baker beauty. But the words Ted Baker should say it all (not for everyone’s budget). Last week I found a lower price replica equally adorable and absolutely within budget. I paired mine with a springy floral skirt (and a blazer while at the office). #beautifulbargains
Above the Shell is all tied up but it looks equally good open. My little man made getting pictures challenging … “mommy take my picture” … he’s also in the background above. But trust me, there is a beautiful blouse behind all that blond cuteness (and sass). #motherofboys
And now you can see where he learned all this sass. #likemotherlikeson

Ruffled Shells Under $30
This is the Blouse I am wearing. Comes in one other color and two prints. I was going for Ted Baker Blue. Pair the pink one with the Polka Dot or Floral Pencil Skirt from yesterday.
I have a weakness for stripes. I like that these are indecisive – a little vertical, a little horizontal. Pair with the floral pencil or yellow flair skirt from yesterday’s post.
I love the color of this one … cherry. Double down on ruffles and pair with yesterday’s khaki skirt or go a little more classic and pair with the polka dot pencil.
Gingham is huge right now. Pair this trend with the polka dots or florals for a little pattern mixing or go more for a more subtle bumblebee effect and pair with yesterday’s yellow flare shirt. Also comes in 5 other patterns here.
A little ruffle, a little Lace. I would pair this with a bright pair of ankle pants (come back tomorrow to see some under $30 options ). Also available in black here.
Block Sandal
The link above for my shoes is to a pair at Nordstrom for $100. I found two at Target well reviewed and under $30. (And Women’s Dresses as Shoes are currently Buy 1 Get 1 50% off through Saturday.)
Traditional Block Sandal (also available in Black or Blue)
A lower heel for those that prefer this. Comes in black, tan and red.
There was also a tan cork and straw beauty but it didn’t quite make the price cut ($32.99) but the reviews are off the charts and they look adorable.
Bargain week continues tomorrow with the cutest pair ankle pants! You have to see the pair I found that look exactly like these Ann Taylor, Loft or Banana Republic ones but are less than half the price at only $27.99.
