Here is a roundup for The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Best of 2016. These are all items I would purchase at FULL retail … they were that good! Here’s hoping this year’s sale brings equivalent finds. This roundup is focused on workwear. I also have a roundup of staples I purchase every year, find that one here.
Alice & Olivia Dress – I saw this beauty in the catalog but didn’t commit to buying it. I saw this in the store and knew I wasn’t going home without it. This was by far my favorite purchase from 2016. I recently posted this Facebook find that Off 5th had the dress on clearance.
Stuart Weitzman Perfection Bootie – Almost every Anniversary sale I purchase a pair of Stuart Weizman shoes or boots. I debated that they might qualify as a staple but that seems too generous a label. I’ve worn these a ton and they were well worth the investment.
Trouve Faux Leather Skirt – this little gem was a surprise. Very inexpensive and yet expensive looking. Seen here paired with my Hugo jacket for a formal business look but it also works jwith a T-shirt for the casual “this old thing” vibe.
Classiques Entier Faux Wrap Leather Skirt – I think the name of this one threw people. I think people read this as Faux Leather rather than Faux Wrap. I probably made a similar error since I didn’t find this until toward the end of the sale. I’m so glad I did. Gorgeous lambskin leather in a rich burgundy color. Classic fall attire.
Topshop Pleated Skirt – This was an item I tossed in the cart on a whim and I’m so glad I did. It travels beautiful, can be dressed up or down and looks way more high end than it is. My CPW on this one is pennies. #pennies
